PS Series Jet Mixer

1. Product Characteristics

PS series jet mixer has two distinct advantages over other types of mixers. First, it can directly mix different pressure fluids. Secondly, PS series jet mixer can increase the pressure of lower pressure fluid.

2. Product Type and Product Characteristics

There are three main types of PS series jet mixer: PS-I, PS-II and PS-III. PS-I type is a liquid/liquid mixer, i.e. both the working fluid and the ejecting fluid are liquid, but their viscosities are relatively small (similar to the viscosity of water); PS-II type is a gas/gas mixer, i.e., both the working fluid and the ejecting fluid are gas. Because the gas viscosity is very small, so long as the operating conditions are appropriate; PS-II is used for almost all gases; PS-III is a gas/liquid mixer, usually the liquid pressure is higher as the working fluid, while the gas pressure is lower as the ejection fluid.

3. Structural indication

Standard jet mixer consists of receiving chamber, nozzle, mixing chamber and diffusion chamber.

4. Applications

(1) PS-I liquid/liquid mixer, i.e. both the working fluid and the ejecting fluid are liquid, but their viscosities are relatively small (similar to water viscosities).

(2) PS-II is a gas/gas mixer, i.e. both the working fluid and the ejecting fluid are gases.

(3) PS-III is a gas/liquid mixer.
