Structural Characteristics and Mixing Principle

Reactor is the core equipment in chemical reaction process. It can be divided into tube type, kettle type, tower type and fixed bed according to its structure. It is widely used in gas, liquid and solid chemical mixing reactions. The internal structure of JHF series enhanced heat transfer reactor developed by our company is similar to that of static mixer, which can make different liquids entering the enhanced heat transfer mixing reactor mix well with each other. However, unlike the conventional static mixer internal unit, its internal components are not made of plates, but of finer tubes, which can pass through heating medium or cooling medium. The internal unit can not only fully mix, but also provide a large heat transfer specific surface area.

 

Product characteristics and uses

1. JHF-I Mixed Reactor for Enhanced Heat Transfer

It is specially used for heat transfer enhancement in high viscosity media. JHF-I type enhanced heat transfer hybrid reactor does not need to be combined with other parts, and is directly connected with pipeline. For high-viscosity medium of 3,000-450,000 cm, its heat transfer coefficient can reach 100-400 W/m2 C, which is 4-5 times higher than that of conventional tubular reactor. Mainly used for:

(1) Heating and Cooling of Oils and Fats in Food Industry

(2) Heating and cooling of melt resins and heating and cooling of polymer solutions in synthetic fibers and plastics industries

(3) Heating and cooling of binders and cosmetics in daily chemical industry

(4) Heating and cooling of molten asphalt, heavy oil, crude oil and residue in petroleum industry

(5) Cooling of Emulsified Explosives in Explosives Industry

(6) Polymerization of polystyrene

(7) Production equipment for styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer

(8) Production plant for acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer

(9) Used as a Polymerization Reactor for Polyamide 6

 

2. JHF-II Mixed Reactor with Enhanced Heat Transfer

JHF-II type enhanced heat transfer hybrid reactor can be used for the liquid/liquid reaction process with strong exothermic effect. JHF-II enhanced heat transfer mixing reactor is installed horizontally with SV static mixer as fittings to ensure uniform liquid/liquid mixing. It requires a longer liquid/liquid reaction process and a longer length of static mixer. At this time, each static mixer can be connected with each other by a 180 degree elbow to form a unit reactor. Mainly used for:

(1) Cooling of Polyester Melt

(2) Ammoniation of Acrylonitrile

(3) Reaction of chloroacetic acid with ammonia

 

3. JHF-III Mixed Reactor with Enhanced Heat Transfer

JHF-III type enhanced heat transfer hybrid reactor can be used for the gas/liquid reaction process with strong exothermic. JHF-III type enhanced heat transfer hybrid reactor is installed vertically. Generally, the gas-liquid two phases move upward in parallel, and the bottom of the reactor is equipped with a specially designed gas distributor. Under special circumstances, the gas-liquid two phases in the reactor can also move downward in parallel, and the top of the reactor is equipped with a specially designed liquid distributor. Mainly used for:

(1) Cooling of Polyester Melt

(2) Ammoniation of Acrylonitrile

(3) Reaction of chloroacetic acid with ammonia

 

4. JHF-IV Mixed Reactor with Enhanced Heat Transfer

JHF-IV type enhanced heat transfer mixing reactor can make different fluids into it mix well with each other, and can also enhance the heat transfer process of high viscosity medium, so it is particularly suitable for use as a polymerization reactor. The uniform temperature distribution at the same cross section in JHF-IV is beneficial not only to improve the quality of polymer products, but also to improve the conversion of polymerization. From monomer to complete polymerization, the viscosity of the reaction material changes from small to large, and the higher the degree of polymerization, the higher the viscosity. It can be used in conjunction with SV static mixer or stirred polymerizer.
